Crude Things Graffiti Style Dresses & NYC life…

August 15th, 2013

hey there sorry for the long time away from updating. funny thing is i could have sworn i did make an update in July with my new Burning Man creations….but it somehow vanished.  I am back living in NYC area again & back at doing hair again!!! i will be working one or two days a week (Tuesdays for sure) at this really cool hair salon in the Lower East Side called Salon No15 located at 15 Clinton st btw Houston & stanton. if you want fun color, haircuts, or hair extensions you can set up an appointment with me via email: make sure to leave your phone number in the email so i can reply via text message or a phone call!

I have been extremely inspired being back in the city &  sewing like crazy on my new series of Graffiti style Decay looking Dresses. Also as of next week you will be able to buy a few of these in my etsy shop Crude Things & if you are here in NYC or visiting i will be selling them at NYC’s famous clothes store Trash & Vaudeville located in the East Village at 4 St Marks Place! Yes i am very excited they loved my new dresses enough to take some in their shop, this shop has been here sense 1975 & i remember shopping there as a teen, so many tourist roll trough that store daily, i love it!

Here’s the story of this series of Crude Things dresses… i was doing laundry & this local guy was telling me his beliefs- we are like lizards & over time blend into our environment. it is very true when you really pay attention & look at peoples faces/skin, not just clothes…so these are dedicated to my lovely beautiful Bushwick Brooklyn NYC neighborhood.

I have more of these dresses coming out soon & if you are at all interested in a custom made one please email me :)
