Golden Sunshine …… Shirt

it has been too long sense i last updated, sorry just when we returned from France all i wanted to do was lock myself away & make pretty things!  

1st off, France was fun & at the Outsider Art show in Bezu, i was giving an award for being “Prix Expression”

i also made a couple of new French Carnival dolls while i was there, meet Pierre & Frenchi! who are both upfor adoption in my etsy store, Crude Art

speaking of my etsy shop/shops…. in my clothing/accessories shop, Crude Things, i have a lot of yummy things for sale, need to make space for fun new creations. plus more people need to wear my fun creations!

this week i will be adding new designs to my store, so keep a look out!

as far as events coming up….

***this Thursday June 25th DJ Bigtop (myself) & DJ Stupid will be playing all kinds of wacky music to rock out to for the art opening at the Goodfoot, located 2845 SE Stark, Portland

***Fri July 2nd, from 5 to 10 pm, i will have 5 crazy fabric/fiber art pieces in the 8×8 STRONG art show.    60+ artists,  88 themes, & all art is $50 cash & carry!!!  located at Po Boy Art Gallery & Framing, 1421 se stark, portland

*** also in July,  i will be belly dancing at one of Portland’s craziest  belly dance nights Offbeat Belly Dance, July 16th at the Blue Monk, SE Belmont in Portland

i have a bunch of new cute dolls, they are all in France right now for a big art show in Bezu!

This Sun here in Portland at the Fezz Ballroom, my band Power Circus will be performing a fun theatrical set, we are also delighted to have my favorite circus performers coming to be a part of this show, Snake Oil, from Finland!

Two local bands that are also wonderful will be playing this show as well, Cult of Zir & Juan Profit Organization, so this is a show NOT to miss! doors open at 8pm, show will start right at 9pm. $8  so come on out, we all have been working very hard on this performance!!!  (more info w/ links can be found here)

other than this, i have just been working away, making a new batch of cute little dolls for the show coming up in Bezu France in a couple of weeks! more about this later…. i need to edit the doll photos   

i took a class last month on how to make jewelry, so now i have been having fun twisting wire to make fun creations!

i have been bad again, not updating my website….. BUT i have been making things like mad  

there are a TON of crazy fun wide leg pants, hip scarfs, dresses, wrap around skirts, wigs….. all in my etsy shop.  go peek!!! speaking of etsy shops… i started a new one just for my art, dolls, photos. i figured i am sewing so much i need to different stores to keep it all organized and easier for you to look through. here’s my new crude art etsy store, i moved a few things over but still need to add a bunch of things to it.

next week i will be vending & playing a show in Port Townsend! we are going to be at Art Fest, so come say hi if you are there.  as for the show i am playing, it is with my band Power Circus, show will be Thursday night at the Undertown coffee shop.  bring extra money to buy our new cd that just came out, we will have them for sale for $10 !

i am in a photo show that opens this Thursday evening at the Goodfoot Pub & Lounge i will be there from 7-9pm, so come on out and say hello!  this will be my 1st photo show, the photos are moainly of the fashion images i take along with a few travel shots & doll photo shoots.  

for some reason lately i have been obbsessed with animal prints of all kind, especially kitty cat & snake prints….this outfit is made out of a very soft spandex, so comfy!!!  perfect for yoga, belly dance…      it is available right now in my etsy store along with the fox stole/scarf

i have been sewing up a storm so far this new year, it feels great. i still have a head filled with pretty things i want to make for new photoshoots, fashion shows, performances, and i really want to try to make a mini stop motion animation in the next couple of months. now, all i need is more time in a day….
